Unique Creation Process
Designed in 2015 in the London Studio, Melt shades are made using blow-moulded polycarbonate and finished with vacuum metallisation. This creates a mirrored look when off and a molten, glowing effect when lit. Made in Germany, the process blends advanced technology with sculptural design.
Inspired by Melting Materials
The Melt collection was inspired by the idea of molten glass, lava flows, and the distorted beauty of melting materials. It explores the interplay of light and reflection, aiming to create a surreal, otherworldly effect that shifts between solid and liquid.
Ambient Illumination
The Melt Pendant Light comes with a 6W LED light source and is suitable for inline dimming through mains TRIAC dimming switches. Emitting a warm 3000K colour temperature, the Melt Pendant Light provides soft and ambient illumination for any setting, whether residential or commercial.
