FAQs

Authentic means it’s the real thing. At Nido Home, we don’t do “inspired by,” “in the spirit of,” or “just as good as.” For example, if you purchase a piece from Expormim, Vibia, or Gandia Blasco through our showroom, you can be assured of three things:

  • The original designer or design studio created it
  • It was produced by the brand authorized to manufacture and distribute it
  • The designer or brand receives proper credit and compensation

We work exclusively with manufacturers and studios that own the rights to their collections. Our role is to support their work by giving it a platform and context, not by mimicking or diluting it. That includes legacy studios as well as emerging voices in modern furniture and lighting.

This is what makes our showroom different. We stand behind real design because it adds value to your space, supports the people behind it, and respects the creative process.

When you choose authentic design, you're investing in quality, longevity, and intent. You're becoming part of that story—and it becomes part of yours.

Nido Home proudly represents brands like:

Expormim, Gandia Blasco, GAN Rugs, Vibia, Santa & Cole, Alexandra, Danao, Mowee, Point, Blomus, Cane-line, Crescent Garden, Diabla, and Tom Dixon.

We don’t carry copies. We don’t sell lookalikes. We stand for original work and the people who create it.

Nido Home offers white glove delivery for most furniture orders, ensuring your pieces arrive safely and are placed with care in your home. Shipping rates are calculated based on your location, delivery method, and the total value of your order. Each shipment is coordinated to provide a smooth and professional delivery experience.

Caring for luxury outdoor furniture starts with consistent, gentle maintenance. Most pieces can be cleaned with mild soapy water and a soft brush or cloth to remove dust, dirt, and buildup. Harsh chemicals and abrasive tools should be avoided to protect the finishes. Cushions should be spot cleaned with gentle soap or a vinegar solution, then air dried completely. If covers are removable, follow the brand’s care instructions—some may be machine washable.

Protecting your furniture from the elements is just as important as cleaning. Use breathable protective covers when pieces are not in use, especially during heavy rain or extended sun exposure. During off-seasons, storing cushions indoors or in ventilated storage boxes helps prevent mold and wear.

Different materials require different care. Teak and other hardwoods may be left to age naturally or sealed annually to maintain their original tone. Metals like aluminum or steel benefit from occasional cleaning and wax treatments to prevent corrosion. Wicker and rattan should be brushed free of debris and lightly washed without oversaturating natural fibers. Resin or plastic pieces can be cleaned simply with water and soap.

Seasonal maintenance checks help extend the life of your furniture. Look for loose hardware, address minor rust or wear early, and clean off pollen or organic matter to prevent staining. By staying consistent and using the right methods for your furniture’s materials, you’ll keep your pieces looking and performing at their best for years.
