The CORD lounge chair is a design that reflects Groundwork Studio’s pursuit of reducing the product to its essence. Its inspiration comes from the Danish tradition of paper cord, but it is adapted to a range of contemporary products for both outdoor and indoor use. The aesthetic is an elegant and functional combination of Mediterranean GANDIABLASCO and international outdoor lifestyle.
Its design is based on minimal construction with a thin frame of satin AISI 316L stainless steel. The seat and backrest are formed by 100% polyester rope with a natural appearance, similar to Danish cord. This material is suitable for exterior use and provides the sinuous supporting areas. The lounge chair is stackable, up to a maximum of 4 units.
The CORD lounge chair is designed to offer a joyful interaction and pleasant daily use. It is ideal for designing resting areas on porches, terraces, or in living rooms, suitable for both interiors and exteriors. The design seeks to establish an emotional connection with the user.
