The search for privacy was what guided Esther Campos when it came to designing this canopied sun lounger. Its corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum structure includes a woven base made from Shintotex, a highly resistant recyclable fiber developed by POINT. On the inside, the double sun lounger is reclining. The outside is enveloped by Sunbrella curtains, a technical fabric that is resistant to UV rays, fungus, stains and cleaning processes. “The curtains allow us to create intimate moments in the open air, as well as meaning that, aesthetically, the piece fits into any setting,” explains Campos. “It is an element that evokes a certain romanticism”. The ceiling of Sunset is formed by screen canvas, a fabric with micropores that allows air in but keeps the heat out.
