What can be said of Nido at this point? Nido is one of our senior outdoor collections. Essential because its modularity, its upholstery, the richness of its textures and its resistant structure made of stainless steel tube, the best of guarantees when producing for outdoor use.
Thus, it becomes really difficult to think how the collection could be improved or extended and yet we’ve done it once again by means of the new stackable Nido armchair. The thick braid defining its armrests has been supressed and limited to a thin rope rolled up around the upper part of the piece, so the legs can be fitted into the resulting gap. Then it’s only a matter of removing the cushions and voilà!

Javier Pastor
College professor as well as industrial and graphic designer, Javier Pastor studied the Master of Design and Design Management in the Domus Academy of Milan in 1996. He has developed many projects in different fields: furniture, lighting, product, graphic design and communication.
As a researcher of the IGD (Group of Research and Design Management of the Polytechnic University of Valencia), he works in consultancy and training projects regarding design and product portfolio management, collaborating with different companies and organizations.
