Käbu, curve in Japanese. With this name, I underline the conceptual process behind the design of this collection. The light structure is dressed up in a technical fabric that becomes skin and wrapping. The tightness of the fabric upon the structure generates a curve emphasising the desire for a lightweight upholstered framework.

Javier Pastor
College professor as well as industrial and graphic designer, Javier Pastor studied the Master of Design and Design Management in the Domus Academy of Milan in 1996. He has developed many projects in different fields: furniture, lighting, product, graphic design and communication.
As a researcher of the IGD (Group of Research and Design Management of the Polytechnic University of Valencia), he works in consultancy and training projects regarding design and product portfolio management, collaborating with different companies and organizations.
