FALCATA

Its name comes from tradition, but its aesthetic is innovative. Its legs of injected aluminum seem to flow smoothly just like the distinctive black ink strokes of shodō (Japanese calligraphy) and evoke organic elements. Its elegance is based upon the balance between simplicity and delicateness, as well as upon a harmonious structure allowing for visual lightness.

Highly technological materials and systems blend in with reminiscences of the animal and plant kingdom, the exotic Japanese culture and the first inhabitants of a land called Iberia synthesizing in a unique piece.

Lievore Altherr Molina

Lievore Altherr Molina studio was born in 1991 from the merger of Alberto Lievore, Jeannette Altherr and Manel Molina, its three founding partners. From the beginning until the moment they decided to split up in 2016, and given their multidisciplinary vocation, the team transcended the limits of product design
(furniture, objects, packaging, etc.) to embrace consultancy and art direction for the most diverse companies always providing individualised solutions.

Their humanistic approach to design is easy to detect in the persistent search for aesthetically beautiful and pure forms which come, nonetheless, as the logical fruit of the rules imposed by function and context. Throughout the years, the studio received many national and international awards. One of the most outstanding was the Spanish Premio Nacional de Diseño in 1999. Moreover, their work has been exhibited in the main capital cities of the world, such as Paris, Tokyo, London or New York.
