DNA Teak is inspired on a game of light and shade that references the archetypal Mediterranean window shutter, as well as the works of those oriental architects who use wooden slats and bamboo stalks.
The warmth and naturalness of teak wood contrast with the coldness of the aluminium that frames the furniture, GANDIABLASCO’s fetish material. Its chestnut tones combine with the anodized aluminium colour as well as with all the powder-coated finishes available in this collection.

José Antonio Gandía-Blasco Canales was born in Ontinyent, Valencia. After studying law at the Valencia University, he joined the family business Gandia Blasco, a blanket manufacturer. After travelling throughout Spain as a business agent, he began to work on responsibilities in the company.
