Today, outdoor spaces – balconies, roof terraces and gardens alike – are being graced with the same attention as our indoor rooms. To celebrate this, Florian Kallus and Sebastian Schneider, of German kaschkasch, have designed a complete garden furniture collection comprising a dining table and two smaller café tables, with chairs to match, plus lounge chairs and lower tables to sit beside them, and even a bench. Called Yua, the range is characterised by delicately curved flat surfaces built around structural tubes, and effortlessly marries functionality with elegant style.
The variety of pieces available within the Yua collection means you can curate your outdoor space to suit your own needs. If al fresco dining is your passion, the range includes a large dining table and a choice of round or rectangular bistro tables. Available in two shades – Silk Grey and Granite Grey – the matching chairs come in flat steel (Yua) and wired (Yua Wire) variants and can easily be stacked and combined and used with cushions designed to fit the seats perfectly. Choose to have them with or without armrests, or why not opt for some of each? Included in the Yua range are also loungers – also available in either flat steel (Yua) or wire (Yua Wire) variations – and, to go with them, lower tables – perfect for resting that after-dinner coffee.
Yua – which means connectedness in Japanese – is part of a larger assortment of outdoor furniture by German kaschkasch for blomus which also includes outdoor daybeds, tables and lighting.
